Part II: Beyond the Barrier Reef – the Outer Solar System
Wednesdays at 6.45pm: 28th May, 11th June & 18th June
Between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter lies the asteroid belt containing dwarf planet Ceres, a handful of proto-planets and billions of differing sized rocks and debris left over from the formation of the solar system, held in place by the strong gravitational pull of Jupiter. Beyond this barrier reef lie the big players, the giant gas planets of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, the planets of the outer solar system. In these second three sessions we explore the role of the outer planets in personal charts, in their cycles and in terms of their broader influences upon society.

The Inbetweeners: Pluto, Chiron, Ceres & Moon
The Solar System is laid out almost like a flat disc, with all of the major planets spreading outwards from the Sun in their cycles and orbiting fairly closely within the plane of this disc, the “plane of the ecliptic”. But the Moon, dwarf planet Ceres, Chiron and Pluto have differing orbital paths which pass above and below this plane, intersecting it, and in so doing dividing the planets into pairs, almost like a Noah’s Ark, and could be considered therefore as key threshold bodies, those stepping stones we must negotiate in order to embrace the fullest scope of our inheritance in the 'Kingdom of the Sun'.
Exploring the possible pathways and challenges we must face in fulfilling our highest potentials in this lifetime, from the most intimate and personal, the gifts we bring as offerings, those deepest wounds we carry to be healed, through to the darkest revelations in our worlds.
